Meizu 21 Pro
In a surprising move, Meizu introduces the 21 Pro, a smartphone laden with enhancements, challenging speculations about the company’s potential exit from the smartphone market. The Pro variant of the Meizu 21 is geared towards delivering an elevated user experience, particularly in display, camera, and battery capabilities.
Display Upgrade: A Visual Treat
The Meizu 21 Pro boasts a generous 6.79-inch AMOLED display, featuring a resolution of 1,368 x 3,192 pixels (21:9) and an impressive peak brightness of 1,250 nits. Notably, this LTPO panel supports a variable refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz, promising a smoother and more responsive visual experience. This substantial display upgrade distinguishes the Pro model from its vanilla counterpart.
Performance Powerhouse: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Expanded Storage
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, complemented by 12GB of RAM as the standard configuration, with an optional 16GB variant available. Meizu 21 Pro offers diverse storage options, including 256GB, 512GB, and a newly introduced 1TB variant, catering to users with varying storage needs.
Camera Evolution: From 200MP to 50MP Main and 3x Telephoto Module
The rear camera setup sees a notable transformation, with the Pro model opting for a 50MP main camera, replacing the 200MP camera found in the vanilla Meizu 21. Introducing a 3x telephoto module with a 10MP sensor, the smartphone now offers up to 30x digital zoom. The 13MP ultra-wide camera remains consistent, and a ToF depth sensor enhances autofocus capabilities. The main camera supports 8K video recording and features OIS and EIS stabilization.
Battery Boost: 5,050mAh with 50W Wireless Charging
Powering the Meizu 21 Pro is a 5,050mAh battery, marking a 250mAh increase in capacity. Notably, the Pro model supports 50W wireless charging in addition to the impressive 80W wired charging capabilities, ensuring quick and convenient recharging.
